Hey, Cleanish Squad!

Listen to this email here (it’s faster and easier to learn!)

So, apparently, we’re done with Spring weather, and we’ve jumped straight into Summer out here in Austin.

Jealous? Didn’t think so. lol

This got me thinking about my favorite ways to cool down when it’s hot outside, which — of course — involves food.

I wanted to share with you the same list of go-to frozen sweet treat recipes I use in my house so you and your family can enjoy the same healthy indulgences and stay cool doing it.

You’re probably thinking, “What about CREAMi recipes?” since I just shared in last week’s newsletter that I finally bought a CREAMi. Alas, I’m still figuring it all out and have no recipes to share just yet. But, rest assured, I’ll be doing my research 🙂

Some of my favorite things this week 🙂

  • Quote of the Week → “To keep the body in good health is a duty, otherwise we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear.” – Buddha.

  • Ice Cream Maker or Food Processor → All the sorbet and ice cream recipes can be made using a food processor or an ice cream maker. While I own an ice cream maker (this one), I rarely use it. I guess because of the hassle of freezing and cleaning the freezer bowl. For the majority of my sorbets and ice creams, I actually use this food processor. I show how I use it in this video.

  • Popsicle Mold → The molds you buy will have a huge impact on how your popsicles look and the experience you’ll have with them. We’ve tested a ton of different molds, and always come back to this metal mold being the best. It has the perfect popsicle shape, and is very easy to use. For the majority of the year, it feels like our popsicle molds gather dust while they await the hotter months. Then, once summer hits, we can’t use them enough.

You Reached The End! Go You!!

Hi, Cleanish Squad! This isn’t the video I thought I’d be making. When we set off on this journey five and a half months ago, we had a vision—a year of travel, exploration, and freedom on the road. We had it all planned out: homeschooling the kids, selling our house, and discovering where we wanted to live next. But life had other plans. In this week’s video, I’m sharing why we made the difficult decision to cut our trip short and come home—a decision that, for a long time, we didn’t want to...

Hi, Cleanish Squad! Listen to me read this email to you :) Quick update: We’re back in Austin! After five months on the road, we needed some consistency and structure to refocus, recharge, and plan our next chapter (plus, our house didn't sell!). While traveling taught us so much, being back in one spot allows us to create new routines and dig deeper into what’s next for you and us. I’ll be sharing more about this soon! Now, let’s dive into today’s topic: cravings. Last week, many of you...

Hi, Cleanish Squad! Imagine packing your life into an RV, hitting the road for five months, and trying to stick to your health and fitness goals. Sounds kinda exciting, right? But let me tell you—it was way more challenging than I expected! In my latest YouTube video, I’m sharing: ✨ How I navigated tiny spaces, unpredictable weather, and constant travel to stay active. ✨ The big shift in my mindset about what “staying healthy” really means. ✨ Lessons learned about workouts, nutrition, and...
